I'll be back in Atlanta in August and should be able to spend a few hours at Scott's before flying home. Looking forward to that.

Guest Post at My Little Happy Place!
Maybe you remember these Nate Berkus stools I bought in February for only $119 each? Well, the credit all goes to Alison of My Little Happy Place. I've never posted about where I ended up placing them but am so happy that my post about them is while guest posting for My Little Happy Place. Hope you'll head over here to check it out. Thanks Alison!

Exterior Eye Candy: Martha's Vineyard
I'm off to Atlanta for business this week although I plan to squeeze in as much design fun as I can after work. As usual, I have too many things to do before heading to the airport. Here's some eye candy from last year's visit to Martha's Vineyard. Makes me want to get a flag pole! (and an ocean view for a backyard too.)

In Her Shoes: Guest Blogging
Today I'm guest blogging over at Camila's Effortless Style in the really fun In Her Shoes series. Thank you Camila for including me! Camila also does another regular feature, Get the Look for Less. Here's one from earlier this year, based on Rebecca Robertson's room that was featured in Martha Stewart Living( here)
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Guest Blogging at Haven and Home!

Today I'm guest blogging over at Haven and Home - a wonderful blog by Birmingham designer Marianne Strong. Marianne's theme was "Love the One You're With" - asking bloggers to pick a part of their home that proved challenging but now they're happy with it. I thought that was a great, creative theme. Thanks Marianne for including me!
Marianne was recently featured in Birmingham Home and Garden as a Trendsetter & Tastemaker. Love the palette and fabrics she chose.

Post Prom
The chair was found on the side of the road a few months ago. This weekend I'll be repainting it and adding fabric to the seat. Underneath the tux it's green vinyl!

25 Years - Best of Canadian House & Home
Canadian House and Home is celebrating 25 years this year and is featuring some of their favorite rooms on their site. This room designed by Peter Jackman first appeared in the Dec 98/Jan 99 issue. (Photography by Virginia MacDonald)
This soft pink living room by designer Katherine Newman was in one of my all time favorite issues - October of 2004. You can find all 75 rooms here and vote for your favorite. Some of my favorites aren't part of their selection - maybe some rainy day I'll go through all my issues and do a post on mine. (Photography by Ted Yarwood)Hope you have a great weekend!

Seashell Mirrors
There's something about a seashell mirror that's a bit magical. I lean towards more is definitely more when it comes to seashells. Has me wondering if I've collected enough over the years to get out the hot glue gun myself. Do you have a seashell mirror? Image above via Sally Lee by the Sea
