from Eddie of Eddie Ross - a royal Danish baby spoon

Janell of Isabella & Max - From Land of Nod, "Bucket Full o' Burpies"...I love that the bucket looks like a paint can, and the prints are adorable. Perfect for a designer mom!
Brooke of Velvet & Linen - I know that she is doing an Owl themed nursery.
I thought she would like my friend Annette Tatum's bedding.
I would "buy" her a set of each of these:
Forest in Orchid, if it's a girl
or in Whisper if it's a boy
This Sprout Bedding in Maize is another great one that works for either a boy or a girl!
Vanessa of Marley and Lockyer -Being Australian I have made my gifts totally made in Australia.
The first is the awesome award winning Cocooi Babywrap. It has been proven by medical studies that babies that sleep in or on merino wool settle easier, sleep longer and cry much less...a good thing!
The second gift is from a great Tasmanian business (where I am from) called, Little Jenny Wren Dolls. These sweeties are one of a kind dolls that are keepsakes as well as a much loved plaything. They are made using natural fibres like - mohair, angora, alpaca, wool and cotton...very good for little ones - no nasties.
And finally something for Lauren. I find people often forget about the mother that has just done all the work, so for you my sweetie a gorgeous Tasmania Myrtle wood pendant from a favourite Tasmanian Designer, Sophie Hill from That Vintage...I like the one with the Deer head or the vine pattern (I have that one and it goes with anything!!). I wish you all the luck in the world, for you and your little cherub!
I hope you enjoy your Australian 'gifts' Lauren. Love Ness XXX
Jennifer of The Newlywed Diaries - I know just the thing for Lauren, the gorgeous market sling by Serena & Lily. In green, of course!
Marianne of Haven & Home
I am so excited for Lauren! I would send her a piece from the Knoll Kid line, I know she has always liked the Saarinen table so I would get her the mini version....
However, since realistically that is out of my price range I would send her something simple but beautiful, like this lion since I know we have a shared thing for the King of the Jungle...
Paloma of La Dolce Vita
I couldn't be more excited about the fact that Lauren's family is growing and she will soon be welcoming another sweet baby into her home. She has always been so gracious and is one of the kindest bloggers I have had the pleasure of knowing. Everyone knows that Lauren has great style with a bit of a European flair, so I thought one of these sweet alphabet prints from Bibity would be ideal for the new baby. Not only do they speak to Lauren's design sensibility, but I personally love them because of my background in foreign languages. If it's a girl, Lauren can hang the pretty French Alphabet poster in the baby's nursery and if it's a boy, she can go for the more masculine-looking Italian Alphabet print. Either way, I am sure both the baby and the nursery will be beautiful! Congratulations, Lauren!

I chose this blanket for lovely friend Lauren because I have always wanted one of these somewhere in my living room! A blanket like this would last forever, somewhere in her baby's room!
from Camilla of High Heeled Foot in the Door - Lauren was one of my first blog friends! Our blog comments led to emails, which then led to a meet and greet when she was in the area and then came numerous phone calls because we are far away from each other! When Lauren told me the news of her latest bundle of joy I was so excited! I've had babies one the brain this last year so it was exciting to know I had a friend I could live vicarously through. I of course jumped at the chance to join in and help Michele with this lovely virtual baby shower.
There is a great tutorial for how to make them here: http://moonstitches.typepad.com/photos/tutowlrial/index.html
Now once we know whether it is a boy or girl and what he or she is named I would be more than happy to take a stab at this DIY project and send some little whoo's to VA.
It's been driving me crazy not knowing whether it's a boy or girl. Damn lauren for wanting a surprise :) , but either way I know this little baby is not only going to be extremely loved, but have a very stylish room.
Lauren has mentioned that owls are on her brain for this latest nursery and I think these sweet little guys would look great on a shelf.
Holly of Things that Inspire
One of my favorite recent posts from Lauren was about what makes a home comfortable. In a house with young children, I think part of what makes a home comfortable is the sound of happy children, and in particular the sound of happy children singing!
This is a gift of comfort, happiness, and song to Lauren and her family. I purchased these when I had my first child, as I could not remember any of the words to the classic songs from my childhood. All three of my children have grown up listening to these tunes, and they hold a very special place in my heart! I hope Lauren, her husband, and her children have a lifetime of wonderful music in their lives
Nelya of Head over Heels
As a mama of three myself, practicality reigns. And so, the realist in me would give sweet Lauren cases of these. But that's no fun now, is it?!?
So, all practicality aside, and since virtual money is no object, I would search high and low for this gorgeous vintage inspired Sebra Danish crib to gift to purestyle baby
Afterall, who wouldn't have sweet dreams nestled into this beauty. And to round it out, this poster and ledge from ISAK.
That way sweet baby purestyle can begin to hone his/her styling skills from the get go.
Congratulations Lauren, that baby is one
lucky duck being born into such a wonderful family!
from Laura of Laura Casey Interiors
Since everyone else has probably taken care of most of her baby and house needs I am going to give Lauren two virtual gifts that every new mom needs.
First three extra hours of sleep a night and then a photographic memory to capture all of the moments that seem to fly by.
and in case my virtual hours don't come through and she doesn't have a miracle blanket it is the best swaddling and sleeping tool around.
Yes it looks like a bit of a straight jacket but it is a miracle that will bring those three much needed hours Best wishes Lauren!
And from me, a cute little gift card from Deejann on etsy.
and this little Owl top from etsy seller Little Wren. So sweet.
Congratulations to Lauren and her family - we wish you the very best!
