On another note, here in the DC area there's two house tours you might want to put on your calendar. October 5th - Mount Pleasant House and Garden Tour, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., more info here.

October 19th - Palisades Village House Tour, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Eight house are on the tour, four of which are on Potomac Avenue. More info here.
